Productivity is a much talked about issue in many organisations, and productivity training is often a part of the core curriculum of courses offered to staff. But there are often three critical issues that limit the effectiveness of this training for the organisation:
Cultures are shaped by the actions and behaviours of people within an organisation, and the people who have the most influence on a culture sit at the leadership level. Creating a culture that amplifies productivity rather than dilutes it requires leaders to model excellent productivity behaviours, as well as ensuring their teams have the right tools, systems, knowledge and agreements in place to maximise their productivity.
The Smart Leaders Online program combines three group webinars designed for leadership teams and an optional 1:1 online implementation review with each executive. It provides leadership teams with a quick start-up to getting organised and creates a framework to support a culture of productivity across the organisation. The program moves from personal productivity through to team productivity. Participants not only learn to boost their own productivity, they learn how to help those around them be more productive.
The program takes a practical and holistic approach to productivity, so participants don’t just learn theory – they actually implement during the training. Technology can play a big part in enchancing our productivity, so all principles are linked to implementation strategies using MS Outlook, OneNote and handheld devices. This approach is especially critical when leadership teams work remotely, but still need to stay connected with their EA and/or the wider team.
The Smart Leaders program combines three short group training sessions, an EA session and an optional 1:1 follow-up session for each executive. It provides senior leadership teams with a quick start to getting organised and creates a framework to support a culture of productivity across their division or organisation. The program addresses the specific productivity issues faced by senior executives, and moves from helping the executives get focused and in control, to helping them to spend more time on the activities that have real impact, and finally to helping them leverage the productivity of those around them.

Technology plays a big factor in our productivity, so all principles are linked to implementation strategies using MS Outlook, OneNote and other Office 365 productivity tools.
This initial session will help leaders and managers to create an efficient workload management system to manage their busy schedules and to focus on the right work at the right time. We will look at ways to harness the power of the technology at your fingertips to get in control of your Inboxes, schedules and priorities. This session is all about getting in control of a busy schedule, an overfull inbox and the many priorities that demand your attention.
Session two builds upon the foundations laid down in session one, and will help participants to create planning and prioritising habits that ensure they are working effectively on the activities that create the greatest impact in their roles. This session is all about directing your time, energy and attention on what is most important.
The final session in the Smart Leaders program looks beyond personal productivity to help managers and leaders to leverage the productivity within their teams. We examine strategies to create more productive email, meeting, collaboration and urgency cultures that sustain productivity over time. This session is all about creating the space for productivity to flow within your team.
